Weekly Dispatch - October 19, 2026

With only 15 days left until we Save Our Democracy, you may be wondering what you can do to help someone who isn't as knowledgeable about the 2026 election as you are!  Right?!?!  There is so much you can do!

Starting with our Democratic U.S. House of Representatives candidate, Phil Ehr... if you can help chase the vote for Phil Ehr by phone banking or hold Phil Ehr signs near early voting locations and on Election Day - please email me at chair@keysdems.com with Ehr in the Subject line and let me know you want to help elect a candidate who has been showing up and will continue to show up for our community!  Once Phil is elected, we won't need to have "Where's Carlos Gimenez? Protests" at the Gato Building anymore!  Phil will be accountable to our community!

Secondly, talk to your family, friends and neighbors about their plan to vote.  Don't assume they have a plan.  ASK if you can help them get to the polls.  If you can't help them, we will find someone who can!  Let us know so we can come up with a plan.

Early voting starts today, October 19th and runs until Saturday October 31st which includes 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday - from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at five locations in Monroe County:

1. Supervisor of Elections Headquarters, 5200 College Road, Key West;
2. Big Pine Community Park, 31009 Atlantis Drive, Big Pine Key;
3. Supervisor of Election’s Branch Office,
10015 Overseas Hwy, Marathon;
4. Community Center in old courthouse,
88820 Overseas Hwy., Plantation Key; and
5. Supervisor of Election’s Branch Office, Murray Nelson Government Center,
102050 Overseas Highway, Key Largo.

If you have questions about your ballot - go to keysdem.com/voting.  Look for "What is on the Nov 3 Ballot?" and find the Voter Guide that applies to where you live.  Click on that Voter Guide to see the Keys Dems recommendations.

And finally, here are some other ways to get involved.  Do what you can to help these extraordinary candidates get elected!  We have 15 days to do our part!
