Weekly Dispatch - October 12, 2026

This election is about where we are as a country... and where we want to go.  We have been showing up and doing the work.  Let's make these final days count!  We have 22 days to help voters make a plan, write postcards, support candidates, and bring others into the effort.  We must seize this moment in history as an opportunity to reshape our politics and redefine what we expect from our elected representatives and what we owe one another! It is not time to back down. It is not time to tune out.  Let's work together to elect leaders who will protect our democracy.  Feel what you feel. Take a breath. Then take action. We have three weeks and a day. We can do this. Let’s make these 22 days count!!!

GOOMBAY is upon us this weekend!
We need your help!  For setting up our Goombay tent on Friday 10/16- we have 3 folks but we need 4!  Can you be the one to help us?  If so, please email chair@keysdems.com.  We also have several shifts that only have one person who has volunteered!  That is NO FUN!  Please be the person to help in our Goombay tent on Saturday 10/17 from 12 noon - 7pm even if only for an hour.  We also need 4 people to break down our tent on Saturday evening.  Email me at chair@keysdems.com with GOOMBAY in the subject line to let me know that you can help out!
