On February 3rd, Protective Status for Haitians officially ends. Temporary Protective Status (TPS) allows eligible Haitian nationals already in the US to live and work lawfully for a limited time due to dangerous conditions in Haiti. The US has a Do-Not-Travel Advisory to Haiti because it is an unsafe country and is still sending Haitians back there. 500,000 Haitians nationwide have now lost their Protective Status, many in Key West. Show your support for our Haitian neighbors. This event is sunrise to sunset, come when you’d like and stay as long as you want.
