“Democracy is not a state. It is an act.” — John Lewis
In today’s newsletter, I am asking that we all do what we can do to get Dems elected. not only in Monroe County but also in our great state and our great nation.

The August 18th election is just weeks away.  Every single one of us must vote!!!  Have you voted by mail?  Do you plan to vote early?  Or will you wait until election day?  The point is to have a plan and to follow through, not one of us can sit this one out. If you are unsure about anything having to do with voting on or before August 18th, please go to our website  Voter Resources — Florida Keys Dems for more information or call or text any member of the Monroe County DEC!  We are here to help!  What can you do to help save our democracy?

  • Forward this newsletter.

  • Invite someone to our next meeting.

  • Write postcards together.

  • Share reliable information.

  • Democracy spreads one conversation at a time.

Democratic candidate, Representative Angie Nixon, who is running for the US Senate will be in the Keys this week!  We do hope you will come out and meet her while she is in the Southernmost County!  Please watch our social media for updates!  Facebook www.instagram.com/floridakeysdemocrats/   We need a few volunteers to help with the Angie Nixon Meet & Greet in the Key West area - set-up and clean-up.  Please text Bert (305) 747-4569 if you can help. {est time 5pm - 7pm on 7-30-26} Thank you!
